ZIMBABWE’S trade deficit with South Africa (SA) has declined by about 83 percent to $96 million in the seven months to July 2019 compared to $574 million recorded in the same period last year, official data has shown.
A worsening foreign currency shortage and rising inflation have eroded purchasing power, leading to suppressed demand in the economy.
