CARTHORSE Enterprises (Carthorse) — an indigenous firm owned by Bongani Mlambo — has won a landmark case in which High Court judge Joseph Mafusire has invalidated the 2003 acquisition of its Inyamasanga Farm in Rusape.
This comes as government has been trying to sanitise its land reform programme by embarking on recent national audits, clarifying issues on who qualifies for help under its compensation deed and several other local farmers, including ex-Trust Bank number two Chris Goromonzi, Reserve Bank governor John Mangudya and Time Bank founder Chris Tande, have lost their properties.
