Blanket Mine revenue up 30 pct to US$100mln

CALEDONIA Mining Corporation – operators of gold producer Blanket Mine – has reported a 30 percent increase in full year revenue to US$100 million after achieving record output in 2020.
The mine reported annual production of 57 899 ounces of gold compared to the 55 182 ounces produced in 2019.
In a statement accompanying financial results, Caledonia added that gross profit for the year amounted to US$46,6 million from US$31,1 million recorded in 2019.

“The robust operating performance was supported by a rising gold price….We also increased the dividend for the fourth time at the start of January to 11 cents a share. This is a 60 per cent cumulative increase from the level of 6,875 cents since October 2019, creating genuine value and returns for our shareholder,” chief executive, Steve Curtis
