Inputs business drives TSL revenue growth

TSL’S revenue grew by 33 percent to $1,5 million during the half-year ended April 30, 2021, driven by sales volumes growth in its agro-inputs business.
The company said Agricura, which distributes agro-chemicals and provides pest control services, recorded volume growth in most product lines due to product availability, improved marketing and a strong distribution network, adding that favourable rainfall patterns during the 2020/21 season have resulted in an increase in demand of the unit’s product offering.

According to the financial statement, operating profit went up 53 percent to $545 million from $355 million while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation rose 51 percent to $720 million from $476 m
