Parliament renews push for Lupane gas exploitation

MINES and Mining Development minister Winston Chitando is under renewed pressure from Parliament for the exploitation of Lupane-Lubimbi coal bed methane gas resources.
This comes as Bulawayo legislator Thokozane Khupe moved a motion in the House last week, calling on the government to finalise the issue of partnerships for the exploitation of methane gas in Matabeleland North province.
