THE Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) says two local pension funds are working on listing Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
REITs are vehicles that own, operate, or finance income-generating real estate, modelled after mutual funds.
ZSE chief executive Justin Bgoni said pushing for the listing of REITs was one of the initiatives being pursued by the exchange as part of its agenda to transform into a “world class” market.
