Women’s Bank targets remote areas

ZIMBABWE Women’s Microfinance Bank (ZWMB) is targeting to increase its presence in remote areas to fill the void left by banking institutions vacating those areas.
ZWMB was opened in 2018, as one of many financial inclusion measures efforts by the government.
In an interview recently, ZWMB chief executive Mandas Marikanda said the bank has entered into a partnership with the ministry of Local Government to ensure presence in all 10 provinces and all districts countrywide.
