RIOZIM says its Biological Oxidation (BIOX) plant project at Cam & Motor Mine is almost complete, with commissioning scheduled for early this year.
In an interview this week, Manit Shah, the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange-listed miner’s chief executive, said all is set for the commissioning.
“We are just about to commission our massive BIOX plant in Kadoma and another at the diamond mine in Zvishavane. The Kadoma project was awarded the national project status,” he said.

The BIOX technology is expected to help the group value-add its precious minerals by processing pure oxide ores to good grades and high recoveries and this is expected to increase current production levels by at least 50 p
