Simbisa defies headwinds

FAST food chains proprietor, Simbisa Brands (Simbisa), says its customer count grew by 18 percent during the six months to December 31, 2022, despite Covid-19 restrictions.

The company said its deliveries were up 62 percent and customers are spending more than before.
“Throughout the six months under review, the group continued to trade under challenging conditions due to the socio-economic and regulatory effects of the Covid-19 pandemic across all the markets. Despite this, Simbisa delivered an excellent performance,” group chairman Addington Chinake said this week in a statement accompanying financials.
