ZIMBABWE’S broad money increased by 15,25 percent to $1,1 trillion in June 2022, compared to $973,5 billion recorded in May 2022, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has said
According to the RBZ’s monthly economic review for June, the increase reflects an expansion of $98,75 billion and $49,40 billion in foreign currency deposits and local currency components respectively.
“The money stock consisted of foreign currency deposits, 58,76 percent; local currency deposits, 40,93 percent and currency in circulation, 0,31 percent.”
