INDUSTRY and commerce minister Sekai Nzenza, says the manufacturing sector will grow by 3,7 percent this year, as the government focuses on developing local industry’s capacity.

This comes after manufacturing capacity utilisation rose from 47 percent in 2020 to 56,25 percent in 2021, while the 2022 national budget had predicted a 5,5 percent growth for the sector.
