OK ZIMBABWE (OK) says it plans to acquire a complementary business as part of its mooted reorganisation.

The retail giant also recently announced plans to wean off some of its business units into separate entities.
“The company is engaged in negotiations for a potential transaction involving the acquisition of a complementary business which , if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the company’s securities, the full impact of which is currently being determined,” OK said in a statement last week.
