THE government has been urged to set up community livestock centres with access to supplementary feeding, as part of its drought mitigation measures.

The fourth edition of the annual Agricultural Sector Survey highlighted that, given that livestock-producing districts are in semi-arid conditions, key informants noted that the government should incorporate drought mitigation measures in the Command Livestock Programme.
