PLATINUM Group Metals (PGMs) output at the Shurugwi-based Unki mine increased 13 percent to 232 100 ounces in 2022 from 204 600 ounces in 2021, but fell in the fourth quarter, according to parent company Anglo American.

The miner’s fourth quarter PGM production was down 17 percent at 52 600 ounces compared to 63 200 ounces in the last quarter of 2021.
“Unki was impacted by maintenance work at the concentrator and lower grade, leading to a 17 percent drop in production to 52 600 ounces,” Anglo American said in a trading
