The hotelier said volumes improved significantly during the year, buoyed by accommodation, outside catering, Heritage Expeditions Africa activities, as well as Gateway Stream revenue channels.
RTG’s chairman, Douglas Hoto, said city hotels’ conferencing business recorded positive performance during the year.
“Our revenues and occupancies are now performing above pre-Covid-19 pandemic levels. Given the uncertainty and volatility characterising the Zimbabwean business landscape, the group had to consistently implement various strategies aimed at maintaining profitability,” Hoto said in a statement accompanying financials.
