Government pledges support for female exporters

WOMEN Affairs minister Sithembiso Nyoni says the government is committed to capacitating women to enter the export market after over 100 female entrepreneurs completed a mentorship programme with trade development and export promotion body, ZimTrade.
Nyoni was speaking at the official closing of the first edition of the programme dubbed the Next She Exporter, as well as the launch of the 2023 Edition.
The women, from different provinces, were capacitated and mentored in entrepreneurship and export marketing.
“The products I saw are of high quality and reflect the effectiveness of this programme. I, therefore, do not doubt that the products will be competitive in the export market.
