Let science lead: Mohadi

VICE President Kembo Mohadi says economic and policy think-tanks have a critical role to play in economic development by providing alternative and evidence-based policy proposals.
Mohadi made these remarks as he officially opened the Zimbabwe Institute of Strategic Thinking (ZIST) annual conference in Nyanga this week.
“Everyone at this conference represents the proverbial incubation hub where the nation expects great ideas through which we can lift our people from poverty.
“It is against such a background I personally find the idea of think-tanking quite profound as it can help us educate, as your government, to get ideas necessary for the resolutions and strategies for the challenges our people face,” Mohadi said.
