ZIMBABWE’S chrome production slumped during the third quarter of 2023, weighed down by a global metals price decline that followed the initial surge triggered by the Ukraine war.

Official data reveals a 9,7 percent drop from the previous quarter and a 28 percent decline compared to the same period in 2022, with output reaching only 248 176 tonnes.
