ZIMBABWE’S inflation rate soared in January 2025, with the weighted month-on-month figure reaching 11,6 percent, a sharp rise from 1,1 percent in December 2024, according to the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZimStat).
Similarly, the US$ month-on-month inflation rate jumped from 0,6 percent in December to 11,5 percent in January, reflecting a 10,9 percentage point increase.
