TRANSACTIONS processed through the National Payment System (NPS) stood at $2,4 billion during the week ending April 27 up from $2 billion recorded the previous week.
The 20 percent rise was due to an increase in Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system transactions.
According to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe’s latest Weekly Economic Highlights, transactions processed through the RTGS system increased 25,8 percent to close the week ending April 27 at $1,6 billion from $1,3 billion.
