MEIKLES says its revenue grew by 88 percent during the quarter to June 2022 due to the easing of Covid-19 restrictions during the period.
The quarter under review had much less Covid-19 restrictions in comparison to the same period of the previous year, a development that Meikles said “bodes well for the group’s sales volume growth”.
“The group fared well on volume, revenue, and profit growth despite the tough trading conditions. Sales volume for the supermarket segment grew by 39 percent for the period compared to the same period in the previous financial year.
