Cifoz calls for construction industry retooling facility

THE Construction Industry Federation of Zimbabwe (Cifoz) says the construction industry needs a retooling facility in light of the current boom in the sector.

The industry is currently buoyed by the renewed government thrust of supporting local contractors, through its infrastructure development programmes. “… everybody is aware that the industry has been down for a very long time and right now, with the boom in construction and the support we are getting from the government, we need a facility for retooling,” Cifoz president Emmanuel Chimedza told The Financial Gazette.
