ZIMBABWE’S exports last year amounted to US$6,6 billion and experts say they are on course to reach this year’s target of US$7,2 billion, but concerns remain over the lack of product and market diversification.
Trade development and promotion body ZimTrade believes Zimbabwe can turn back the clock to a time the country had a well-diversified export market.
“As ZimTrade one of our key objectives is to diversify both the product as well as the market. If you look to 1992, our markets were well diversified as we were exporting to different markets.
