OUTGOING minister of Finance, Mthuli Ncube, is confident of retaining his office after this week’s general election where he was a parliamentary candidate in Bulawayo’s Cowdray Park constituency.
Ncube expressed his optimism soon after casting his ballot in the constituency as he highlighted his vision for the area.
“I think they will vote wisely for a candidate such as myself who is focused on improving their lives. I genuinely want this place to change. You will see the place change completely.
“Here in Cowdray Park we have really done a lot in the last three, four months. The development we have spearheaded here could have taken 10, or 15 years very easily.
“It just shows what one can do if they are focused if they are people-oriented, and if they are development-oriented. People of Cowdray Park should know that this is just the beginning.
